A headscarf debate in 21st century.

A headscarf debate in 21st century has caused a lot of protests in India & worldwide especially after a group of Muslim students in the southern state of Karnataka were barred from entering their school and asked to remove their hijabs.

A question arises of whether a woman should choose Hijab or education.

A sane politician in today’s era should be more focused on education, strengthening its country’s ties with other states etc and not on what a women should or shouldn’t wear. Religion is a private & an individual affair. We wonder why a woman is judged on the basis of her ‘Hijab.’ Talent is ignored in front of a mere head scarf.

Women are still keeping Aurat Marches to fight for their rights & men still question as to why is that necessary as if the apparent situation isn’t clear enough.

How long will the headscarf be considered as an obstacle? How long till we stop taking it as a hindrance? How long till we let out women breathe?
