Ahsan Khan is set to star in an upcoming web series along with Ayeza Khan.
Ahsan Khan revealed that the series will be for Zee channel and also has Samiya Mumtaz, Qavi Khan and Sohail Ahmed in the cast.
“Its a great team. A really good director with an amazing cast.”
The yet to be titled series will be like a Pakistani drama, Ahsan confirmed. “Just because its a web series doesn’t mean we can’t make it into a proper drama with a plot and show our own culture with it.”
About the plot, he said, “The whole play is set on a feudal background. When you’re the elder of a place having a lot of property. It’s about family conflicts. Its a very interesting intriguing story about a family and how someone wants to take away the money and name of this person.”
“It’s about the politics happening within the family. Its about somebody trying to help the underprivileged people but there those who block the way. Its a complete family drama. It’s quite interesting, very well written and it will also show our Pakistani culture.”
He added, “Its like our own TV plays which people internationally want to watch. People love our Pakistani dramas internationally and this is what they wanna watch and a Pakistani drama style for our web series does well to highlight our format.”
The web series will be out in March.
