Early to rise

Not everyone can be a morning person, lots of people set the alarm with the best of intentions, knowing that’s the time they need to get up to meet the day’s demands. But then the alarm clock seems to ring way before they’re ready to rise, so they’re hitting snooze and, eventually, running late. Something’s got to give.

First thing is to identify a morning person for some people, waking up early just feels natural. A person who starts her day at 5 or 6 a.m. Finley is what we would call a morning person. There are a lot of reasons why we may have to get up early. Maybe it’s for work, or maybe it’s to get your kids ready for school or take care of a family member. Maybe you just want some time to work on your hobby or take care of errands before a busy day.

We have always heard early to bed early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise, and honestly since I entered my professional life and realized how true this is. If you’re naturally more of a night owl, waking up early is not going to be easy, so you have to be committed to make it a long-term habit. The first few days will probably be hard. Generally, though, most people do fine once they establish a new, healthy sleep pattern. Rising early is the secret to productivity for many successful people. From athletes to doctors, people who get things done recommend waking up early because it gives you a head start to your day and more time to complete errands or work.
