Cricket is in the air with HBL PSL 7, hard core cricket fans clearly love this season. While PSL has 6 local teams each team has certain number of foreign players in the team .
Amid the Pandemic, things have changed and strict SOPs are to be followed, the players are kept in strict bio bubble life which id for their own good and health. The entire hotel in Karachi was booked while a separate suite of the hotel in Lahore was booked for PSL. A golf session was organized for some cricketers in Karachi while Lahore Qalandars dined in a safe environment. Foreign cricketers in particular are not happy with this, with Alex Hales of Islamabad United and Ben Duckett of Quetta Gladiators resigning for the same reason, and many other players from their subsidiaries seeking more outdoor activities.
An unnamed player expressed that they are far away from normal life. “Living in an environment like this for one month is not easy, the covid-19 cases is also at a decline, PCB needs to revisit their policies regarding the bio bubble.”
