Karachi’s crime ratio falls in the World Crime Index, DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor reveals in a post on social media.
The military spokesperson has also praised civil administration, security forces, police, Rangers, and citizens for fall in the crime ratio in Karachi.
By taking it to social media, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) has shared the World Crime Index where Karachi now stands at 70th position with many world cities behind.
DG ISPR wrote, “Karachi at one point in time (2014) was 6th in World Crime Index. Alhamdulillah, today it’s at 70th with many first world cities behind. Credit to the team of Civil Administration & Security Forces esp Int, Police & Sindh Rangers. Also to the citizens of Karachi. More stability IA”.

Major General Asif Ghafoor has given credit for fall in the crime rate to the citizens of Karachi.
The crime rate in Karachi reportedly started to decrease after security forces launched targeted operation in the metropolis in 2013.
