Tips for shiny hair

Hair that is thick, silky, and glossy is a sign of good health. Silky hair is not something that everyone is born with. If you eat a poor diet or use hair products that aren’t designed for your hair type, your hair may become dry and brittle. When the natural oils generated by the scalp are not retained by the hair, it becomes dry and harsh. To get smooth and silky hair, make the following adjustments to your lifestyle and hair care routine.

Select hair care products that are appropriate for your hair type. When shopping for shampoos and conditioners, keep your hair type in mind. The hair care product formulas were chosen based on the hair kinds, which include oily, dry, and damaged hair.

Hair should not be shampooed every day. Shampooing your hair every day removes oil from your hair. Instead, shampoo your hair two or three times a week. Dry shampoos are a good option if your hair is greasy. Shampoo only the scalp, not the hairs on the tips of your fingers.

Always use a conditioner on your hair. After bathing your hair, don’t forget to use a conditioner for 2-5 minutes and then rinse it out. Conditioner should only be applied to the tips of the hair, not the scalp or the full length. Conditioners aid in the retention of moisture. Static electricity between hair strands is reduced, and some sun protection is provided.

Oil your hair on a regular basis. If you have dry hair, wait at least 1 hour before shampooing before washing it. Any hair-healthy oil, such as coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil, or argan oil, can be used. For dry scalp, massaging the scalp with oil is very beneficial. If your scalp is oily, apply hair oil just to the strands and ends of your hair, avoiding the roots.
