Dramas plays a very vital role for our society, it can literally make or break people and leave a mark in their lives. Pakistanis take dramas very seriously and start idolizing the characters. Khuda Aur Muhabbat series has always left a mark with the viewers . Our youth is very emotional and easily get influenced by stories and scenarios.
Recently an extremely unusual news circles around the internet when a young boy Azeem Ullah Qureshi who is fully inspired by Farhad (Feroze Khan’s character) chose to follow Farhad’s lifestyle. The boy is a Matriculation student and also the owner of a cosmetics’ shop. He comes and sits at the shrine of Hazrat Shah Shams Tabraiz every Friday lost in the memory of his lost love who was his class fellow and is now married. While replicating Farhad’s look he prays for his long lost love and sulk in her memories.
The boy revealed, “Now I will get up from this Shrine when my love will meet me, otherwise I will keep on sitting here”. The crazy fan also keeps his own picture with him, the picture is in Farhad’s get up, he further said that he didn’t paste the picture of his lover on the poster deliberately so that people can’t identify his beloved.
We need to keep a close eye on our youth and apart from that I request the drama makers and writers to please come up with content that would leave a better mark on the society specially the youth.
