New Air Security to be introduced in Islamabad

The federal capital will receive an air security unit with 12 drones this week to offer people with a flawless security system, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed announced Monday. Rasheed told a news conference that 1,000 extra officers will be added to the Islamabad police force and two locators would be acquired to provide flawless security and crime control.

According to the minister, the government has decided to launch a crackdown on individuals engaged in producing fraudulent vaccination certificates or other unlawful papers, citing a zero-tolerance attitude toward these elements. He stated that as part of the redevelopment of the current Food Park, a new food park would be created in Melody Market, and another food street will be opened in Shakarparian’s Art and Craft Village.

Furthermore, he stated that the ministry has set a cost of Rs10,000 for a one-day emergency passport service that would be granted within a day for people in need, while the regular fee will range between Rs5,000 and Rs8,000.

This Air Security would play a vital role in the development and economic activities of the country and will also open doors for the foreign people.
